Kids on the Block

This afternoon our class watched a performance by the Kids on the Block. The puppets are handled by adults wearing black that seem to fade to the background while the puppets tell a story about real life situations. The focus of this performance was on autism and how we all can become a better friend if we follow some of the 7 rules of friendship. We learned to understand how we are all different and that we all have things we are good at and things we are not good at. After the performance the kids were able to handle the puppets and ask questions from the puppeteers.
