On our field trip today we learned all about how bees are very important to the apple orchard. Amy Shea ( Nolan's mom) was nice enough to model the bee costume and the kids learned all about the different parts of the bees body. We found out that even though the bees may bother us at the orchard, without them there wouldn't be any apples to eat. The kids did AMAZINGLY well with the sometimes bothersome bees today.
