A 2nd Grade Teacher from Honduras Visits the Classroom

On Tuesday, Krisia, from Honduras, spent the afternoon visiting Leigh to see what kindergarten was like in Vermont. Leigh's family is hosting Krisia who is attending a 6 week intensive English language studies program at St. Michael's college. Krisia teaches 2nd grade in Honduras. She had a chance to show the children a flag from Honduras and a map of the country. The children really enjoyed having a visitor from another country spend the afternoon with us.
