Reading Partners

The kids are spending time with Reading Partners reading a book from the 'class favorite' basket full of wonderful stories. They have learned to sit side by side in order to see the book and listen to their partner read the story. In the beginning of kindergarten the kids are using the pictures and their memory of the story to retell the story. Later on in the year they will use their Guided Reading books during Reading Partner time.
