On Tuesday the Four Winds helpers came into the classroom to talk to the kids about 'predators and prey'. Some of the vocabulary for this workshop included: herbivores, carnivores, predator and prey. We talked all about the different adaptations of the animals that hunt and those that are hunted. We went outside and had to use all our senses to try to follow a path that lead to a snack. The position of the animals eyes, the size of their ears, the kind of teeth are just a few of the adaptations that animals have developed to be the hunter or to avoid being hunted. Thank you again to Kate Moreau, Amy Armstrong,Tammy Jadus and this week's guest helper Aunt Christina. Enjoy the pictures!!!!
