Communities

This week Ms. Spillane has planned a wonderful until on Communities. The kids are learning what a community is and how they can be small like the classroom or large like the town of Williston. Each day there are several activities that the kids are working on that really gets to the core of this concept. The kids are making class books, drawing pictures of their community, writing, matching pictures for snack table assignments and even doing math activities that revolve around this concept. Here are some wonderful pictures of the past few days to sneak a peek into Ms. Spillane's solo week with the children.
